SB Communications is run and owned by Susanne Bruesch.

In my 10-year carreer in the Light Electric Vehicle Industry I have closely worked with ExtraEnergy e.V., the worldwide authority on independent LEV testing and promotion.

In cooperation with CycleElectric International Consulting Group in the USA I started consulting work in 2000.

I studied Translation (German, English, Russian) at the University of Heidelberg, Germany. The result of my graduation paper was the term pedelec (pedal electric cycle) to make international communication about the different types of LEVs easier.

Introducing Pedelec to the industry in 1999 with the help of ExtraEnergy, Bike Europe, Japan Cycle Press, the German consumer magazine Aktiv Radfahren and other media was my start into journalism.

Extensive travels in Europe, Asia and USA, visits of trade shows and companies all over the world have given me a wide knowledge of this industry.

When asked why I am working with LEVs, here is my answer:

It’s a young and small industry, yet its global significance can be immense. By what we do we can make a difference. Plus my work in the industry combines four of my passions: traveling, photography, writing, and cross-cultural communication.
